Yes it’s true – Alaska has it all…wildlife, scenery and surprises. To really appreciate it though in the small amount of time we had, a buddy and I eschewed the standard cruise ships for a self-drive, self-planned, B&B excursion. No schedule, no deadlines. Stop where the scene beckoned and stay until the spirit was somewhat satisfied. Somewhat, because you can never get enough of the magnificence of Alaska!
