Can a gal who hates group travel be content on a week long trip surrounded by 29 other travelers and four naturalists? Yes, IF she picks her group carefully by being honest with the group directors as to what she hopes to get out of the trip.
Thus, my trek to the Galapagos Islands was a resounding success. Going off-season and being in the last group to explore the island gave me amazing opportunities to sit, observe and learn from the wildlife.
